We are excited to have you join us! As a new salaried staff member to MPS, whether this is your very first classroom or joining us with years of experience in another district, you will be participating in a three year Induction program.

The MPS Induction program includes the following experiences:
Year One: Learn through Mentoring Relationships & Orientation
Year Two: Refine through Peer Coaching Partnerships
Year Three: Grow through Extended Professional Experiences

  • All About Boundaries due by Winter Break
  • Millard Instructional Model/Professional Learning Communities Workshop 
  • IWB (Interactive Whiteboard) - Required for all new staff members who will be utilizing a SMART Board.
All Staff: 
  • Suicide Awareness/Prevention: Question, Persuade, Refer-QPR (required of all salaried staff)
  • Tech Ethics (required of all salaried staff)
  • De-Escalation Strategies for Trauma Informed Educators (all staff working with students)
