We are excited to have you join us! As a new salaried staff member to MPS, whether this is your very first classroom or joining us with years of experience in another district, you will be participating in a three year Induction program.

The MPS Induction program includes the following experiences:
Year One: Learn through Mentoring Relationships & Orientation
Year Two: Refine through Peer Coaching Partnerships
Year Three: Grow through Extended Professional Experiences

Spring Orientation
March 20, 2017

The Spring Orientation website is up and available!
Cohort members do not need register for Spring Orientation sessions, all registrations will be handled by Leadership & Learning. Participants will receive notification at the time of registration and then again five days ahead of the event.

Induction Cohort (Year One)
  • Tech Ethics
  • IWB (Interactive Whiteboard) - Required for all new staff members who will be utilizing a SMART Board.
  • Digital Digs and Mathematical Mindset Meetings (for all new elementary teachers)
  • All About Boundaries (required of all salaried staff)
  • Suicide Awareness/Prevention (required of all salaried staff)
